For those of you who still have the average television, you may want to hold off on buying the 3D lens. When you finally upgrade your television then you should think about purchasing the 3D lens.
The soft skin mode is a great little feature that a lot of you will enjoy. In a nutshell, what this unit will do when the soft skin mode is turned on is soften the focus area when the camcorder detects skin tones. This helps to get rid of the signs of aging on folks like liver spots and wrinkles. And so, if you are at a retirement get-together, this may really be a fantastic little feature.
The fact that this camcorder doesn’t come with the 3D lens is something that some users may not like. However, for those of you who haven’t upgraded your television yet, you don’t need this lens. So you can always purchase the lens later. You can, naturally, find a 3D camcorder that comes with the lens you require to begin recording in 3D. You have to remember however, when you buy an unit like that, the cost will end up going up by roughly $400.
